"Excellent renovation experience!"
D&I design was not the first company we approached for pricing quote. Pricing and trusted company was our priority in our renovation journey. We are glad that we had made the right choice with no regrets. We were given a ballpark figure from the rest of the companies for our renovation cost. Which we need to buffer 20%-50% more for the initial bill. Which we are not comfortable with. D&I design were very transparent with all our cost and work within our affordable range. We had good relation partnering with Darren to renovation our resale house. A schedule timeline was provided to us stating what work are we expecting to be done. Constantly he update us on the progression and keeping the common corridor area clean after each work was carried out. Came across several ID firms in my reno journey and I must say Darren is the best guy that I ever come across. They are not the cheapest and Darren is definitely not the most creative ID that I have seen when I do my ID-shopping. However, if you are looking for reliable and practical solution - he is the one to go to. Darren ensured, followed up and provided on-going updates during renovation period (such as getting permit, toilet waterproof construction, tiles, doors, windows... etc installation) till final handover. Much appreciated Darren and his awesome team help me to rectify a lot of issues regardless of critical or major or minor. Also need to highlight that there are times when he even initiated/ proposed changes to turn my idea into practical use. Design
I had most ideas in mind before engaging Darren, but he and his designer helped me to put things together practically and aesthetically. Most of the 3D drawing are based on the designer from his previous job. I actually prefer reuse them as the design concepts are closer to the actual environments of my home and my ideas. Additionally, Darren provided me the carpentry drawing when we discussed on carpentry works, it allows me further know all the details of design. "

Darren came highly recommended by my friend as we needed someone reliable and trustworthy since we were overseas. And he has proven that we had made the right choice to appoint him to renovate our flat.
Darren offers constructive suggestions even if it meant less earnings for him. He don't recommend unnecessary changes. He also took into consideration child safety when designing my toddler's room. He checks on site regularly and picks up defects/mistakes himself and made his team rectify before we even spot them.
I would consider my flat required quite extensive carpentry work as we needed as much storage as possible plus a display cabinet which was quite a challenge to incorporate the LED strips..
My son's bed was another challenge as we wanted multi-colored LED strips under his bed and at this study desk. Darren coordinated with his team and our electrician to get it installed.
Overall, I would recommend Darren to anyone looking to renovate their place. He's responsible, doesn't overcharge, super patient and responsive.. Whilst I wouldn't say there were no room for mistakes, what makes the difference is his positive attitude and proactiveness.

He took into consideration our request to maximise storage space and created as much as possible for us.

This is the 3rd house which Darren had done for us.
We always give him a tight deadline to work on however he never once failed
us n every time he still delivered with excellence n professionalism. In fact we just hand the keys to him n let him run the whole reno for us including handling all other vendors that r involved which makes the reno process a breeze for us.
We know he can be trusted n is very reliable in his work. What we liked best abt him is that when there is an unforeseen issue that pops up esp. with old hse he will not immediately tells u cannot be done but will think of the best possible way to solve it. He is also very knowledgeable n patient in his work so we find it very easy to work with him.

Hubby and me had search for few firm for our 4 room resale flat. After received each of their quotation. We decide to engaged D&I design interior. Mr Darren's sincerity and professionalism make us decided to engage him. During meet up, he explain everything clearly and even gave us some brilliant ideas. To be honest, previous our bto reno wasn't pleasant so our main concern is the workmanship. However for now we can only upload (before) photos. After reno complete, we will upload (after) photos. ""5room DBSS Complete Overhaul"
We did a complete overhaul of our 5room DBSS including major hacking to combine 2 rooms and create open concept kitchen. For a fairly large project inclusive of excessive carpentry, our project was completed on time and looked 95% like the render we were shown which really amazed us.
Issues occurred during the renovation like one of our toilet pipes bursting but Darren ensured that it was fixed immediately on the day itself, similar to any other hiccups that we faced.
The best part about Darren is his reliability even post-project. One year on, when we faced any difficulty we could still reach out to him and he would attend to our needs & queries very quickly. Darren is a very trustworthy ID and we feel comfortable recommending him to all. ."

Engaged Darren from D&I Design for our 'retirement' apartment. Hence, the Reno budget was very important to us. We didn't want to spend too much and judging by today's pricing we were quite worried. But Darren was very receptive and since he understood that, he worked closely with us to cut cost whenever we needed to. He has also gone above and beyond his scope of work multiple times to accommodate to our requests as much as possible. No regrets as we are happy with the final outcome.

Darren had been very helpful throughout the renovation process. He is a very experienced and practical designer, offering ideas and solutions that balances out design and functionality. When we encountered problems, Darren often offered to help troubleshoot and solve the issues (sourcing for things on Shopee and fixing minor issues himself). We appreciate Darren’s advice and commitment to building our first home.

Darren came to the first meeting to ask for the requirements and quickly worked on the sketch and came to explain to us 2 weeks later.
He is very experienced and gave good recommendations/tips during the several discussions and choosing of materials/colors.
The project was well managed and despite starting close to CNY, the project was able to be completed on schedule to move in.
